Awaken & Balance

This weekend marks the Full Moon in Libra and Easter. A time of awakening and of balance, an opportunity to feel your abundance.

The date of Easter is based on the ancient lunar calendar: the Sunday after the 1st full moon after Spring Equinox, when the pregnant phase of Ostara, or the earth mother, is coming into the most fertile season.

Throughout the world, the egg is one of the most potent symbols of fertility. Painting eggs is a tradition of the Celts and many other cultures as well. The egg is the universal archetype of new life. It represents the potential of life and is full of promise, it also offers protection for that potential energy to unfold.

Libra teaches us to find equanimity within ourselves. It’s ultimately up to us to maintain our balance as we interact with the world around us.

Libra is the sign of the scales of balance. It shows us when our internal world has been tipped one way or another, and it’s important to recognize these feelings, then take the appropriate measures to create calmness within.

Notice all the things you are abundant in, including love, beauty, and good people. Be grateful for your life and everyone you have found on your journey. Let this gratitude cultivate even more abundance in your future. Know that you have the power to define any life you want to live. You also have the power to define your relationships both with yourself and others.
