About Chantal...
Having always been passionate about good food and savoring life, I began studying yoga in 2001 and graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2007. I studied Ashtanga yoga for 6 years, and discovered Anusara yoga while living in Costa Rica in 2008. Inspired to learn the art of teaching yoga, I went on to study with some of the school's most senior and influential teachers and scholars, and apprenticed with Sianna Sherman for 16 months. I've had the great blessing of teaching at Canada's top yoga studios, including Kula Yoga Annex in Toronto, YYoga & Inner Space in Vancouver.
One week after giving birth to my beloved son Ben in December 2011, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Trusting that my thirst for healthy living and decade of studies in the healing arts had given me all the tools needed to not only survive this diagnosis, but THRIVE through this transformative chapter, I was inspired to create this site. This collage of thoughts, inspirations and deliciousness is my way of sharing the journey in hopes that you too, through all the choices we make in our everyday lives, will find daily healing.
